Draft Council Vision 2025-2029
The Pyrenees Shire Council is pleased to share the draft Council Vision 2025-2029.
The new draft Vision outlines Council's aspirations, priorities and direction for the coming years.
Draft Council Vision 2025-2029
Our Vision is to put our Pyrenees residents first and foremost throughout the Council, building a progressive, innovative and vibrant shire where economic growth and innovation go hand-in-hand supporting tourism development, the natural environment and small-town sustainability.
By focusing on wellbeing, community connections, and supporting all life stages; we aim to create vibrant, resilient communities where visitors and residents want to live, invest, and thrive.
Community Vision 2031
In 2021, Pyrenees Shire Council worked together with the community to establish our Community Vision. The ten-year Community Vision describes the aspirations for the Pyrenees Shire community to 2031.
Community Vision 2031
Our Vision is for inclusive, happy and healthy connected communities that create sustainable and welcoming townships, natural environments and rural areas.
We attract diversity through promoting innovation, growth and partnerships while addressing climate and community needs such as reliable and responsive infrastructure, affordable services and housing whilst protecting our natural environments.
The Pyrenees Shire Council now invite the community to review and provide feedback on both the draft Council Vision 2025-2029 and the Community Vision 2031 to ensure they align and reflect shared aspirations. We also want to ensure that the key priorities of the Community Vision 2031 are still relevant to our community. Community input is vital in helping to shape a united direction that truly represents the values, priorities and hopes of the community.
Does the draft Council Vision 2025-2029 align with the Community Vision 2031 and reflect shared aspirations?
Are the key priorities of the Community Vision 2031 still relevant to you?
Is there anything you believe was missed during the consultation in 2021 that should be added to the Community Vision 2031 now?
Are there any other aspirations for 2031 that should be included in the Community Vision?
